Below is one of the funniest acrostics I’ve seen in years.
The top line references the particular Christian denominational tradition itself.
The left column references each particular Christian faction, with its accompanying (mis)perceptions, from within U.S. Christian tradition.
The funniest part of this chart, of course, is seeing how the self-perception of a tradition differs so greatly from the outward perception.
A quick starting point for using this chart: if you start in the top left corner, you will continue going down in a straight diagonal to the bottom far right to see how each tradition self-perceives (“Catholicism as seen by Catholics, Mainline Liberals as seen by Liberals,” etc.).
If that isn’t hilarious enough for you, you will then have opportunity to see how each group (in generalities, of course) perceives the other groups as you follow the chart’s lines.
Very, very funny. (In fact, I wish I knew where such a chart could be found for U.S. political factions.)
May your current denominational grudges be ever strengthened and encouraged by this very perceptive analysis (wink).

Haha… my favorite is how Reformed sees Charismatic.
