Kindsighting

I love this.

As a teacher, I have repeatedly observed that the ability to learn and grow from your mistakes can make all the difference in the world in having the ability to adapt and change as an individual. Figuring out what to do differently next time—and deciding how best to implement those step-by-step changes—is a whole lot more productive than helplessly flailing about beating yourself up.

Keep this in mind the next time you have one of those “what was I THINKING???” moments.

Instead, consider reflecting on what you were learning. And how will what you learned change your approach to a similar situation the next time around?

Happy Kindsighting!
