Growing up in North Dakota, I always took South Dakota’s Mount Rushmore monument for granted. It’s a common site for school field trips, family summer getaways, and honeymoons.
So I apparently never gave proper thought during those years to what Mount Rushmore looks like from all angles, not just the view with the grave presidential faces.
Now that I have, I must say that our view beats the Canadian view by a mile, hands down.
Just saying.
