It has come to my attention recently that butter has virtually no nutrients. (The fact that this knowledge came into my life at exactly the same time I suddenly began finding it very difficult to even get out of bed in the morning and began openly questioning the very meaning and value of life itself might possibly be related. Christmas Mulled Wine
Yes, this is Day 9 of my 12 Days of Christmas series…and yes, today I’m sharing my favorite recipe for mulled wine. I first had this delicious hot drink in the 13th-century Lutheran church I attended while in Prague teaching English for a year—it was their tradition to serve mulled wine at their church’s Christmas party. I have loved the piping-hot, spiced beverage ever since, and it’s a treat that I usually get to savor only during the Christmas season.
