This is one of the sweetest pictures I’ve seen of a mother in the wild.
It reinforces two things for me: 1) a mother’s love (furry or otherwise) is pretty special. And 2) love is indeed blind (otter offspring are simply not the, er, cutest furbabies—but this you’d never know from the look of beaming, full-on pride on Mama Otter’s furry face).
